Get answers to the most frequently asked questions about flying private, from what it costs to hire a private jet to onboard amenities available throughout your flight.

1. How far in advance should I book a private jet?
It’s always best to plan ahead when you can. By booking at least a month in advance, you’ll have access to the widest range of aircraft, enjoy better rates and have sufficient time to secure any necessary permits or slots. Last-minute trips can be pricier or more limited, though you might occasionally catch a great deal on an empty leg flight.
2. How much does it cost to hire a private jet?
Private jet prices can vary depending on things like the type of aircraft, passenger taxes, flight distance, airport fees, and any extras you’d like, such as catering, WIFI or ground transfers.
For example, a short hop from London to Paris in a light jet might start at around £7,000, while a larger aircraft for a long-haul flight such as London to New York could cost anywhere between £60,000 and £80,000, depending on the jet type.
