Looking ahead to 2026

As demand for efficiency and flexibility continues to rise, business aviation remains an indispensable tool for both corporate and leisure travellers. With ongoing innovations in sustainability, a rising demand for long-range aircraft and expanded safety protocols across the industry, here’s what’s next for 2026:

Dassault Falcon 10X On Track for its Maiden Sortie in 2026

Dassault Aviation has confirmed its flagship Falcon 10X will now make its first flight in 2026, with certification targeted for late 2027. Designed for full Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) capability, the aircraft will have a 7,500-nautical-mile range and a cabin nearly two metres high, the most spacious of any Falcon to date.

With the 10X, Dassault is positioning itself directly against the Gulfstream G700 and Bombardier Global 8000, offering greater variety in long-range category.

Falcon 6X Gains Steep-Approach Approval for London City

In one of 2025’s biggest UK market developments, Dassault’s Falcon 6X received EASA approval for steep-approach operations, enabling it to land at London City Airport.

This certification places the 6X among a select group of large-cabin jets able to access London’s financial district directly, joining the Falcon 7X and 8X. With a 5,500-nautical-mile range, the 6X can now link central London directly with New York, Dubai or Miami, saving travellers significant ground transfer time.
