The Falcon 10X is Dassault Aviation’s most ambitious business jet to date, unveiled in Bordeaux on 10 March 2026. Featuring the largest cabin of any purpose-built jet, a remarkable projected speed of Mach 0.925 and a 7,500 nm range, the aircraft aims to disrupt the ultra-long-range market with a focus on space, comfort and next-generation avionics.
More than 400 customers, partners and aviation leaders gathered in Bordeaux to witness the unveiling, marking a major milestone as Dassault prepares the aircraft for the next phase of its development programme: flight testing.

A Cabin Designed for Comfort
The defining feature of the 10X is its exceptional cabin size. The aircraft’s fuselage is 8 inches wider and 2 inches taller than its nearest competitor. With room for four zones, possible layouts include an entertainment area, a stateroom with a queen-size bed, a master suite with a stand-up shower and an expansive dining/conference area.
| “The objective,” says Dassault President & CEO Eric Trappier, “is to allow passengers to experience time on board the aircraft as just another part of their everyday life, not as a long interval between origin and destination. So, they arrive feeling refreshed and at their very best.” (Dassault Aviation, 2026)

With passenger comfort and wellbeing being central to the aircraft’s design, the 10X aims to minimise fatigue on flights thanks to its low cabin altitude, a new air filtration system providing 100% pure air and individually adjustable temperature zones. Other notable features include 38 large windows that maximise natural light and mood lighting to help passengers’ circadian rhythms and preferences.
Performance and Power
The 10X expands the Falcon family’s intercontinental reach with an eight-passenger range of 7,500 nautical miles, allowing seamless connections between major city pairs such as New York and Shanghai, Los Angeles and Sydney, as well as Beijing and Paris.
Boasting a remarkable projected speed of Mach 0.925, the 10X is powered by two Rolls-Royce Pearl 10X turbofan engines. These engines provide exceptional thrust, unparalleled efficiency, and steadfast reliability, enabling outstanding performance for both short and ultra-long-range journeys.
