For flights between two and four hours the Nextant 400XT/XTi is a great option. With a top speed of 471 knots, a range of 2000 miles, seating for up to 6/7 and an exceptionally comfortable interior space it is the aircraft of choice for many passengers flying internally within Europe or the US. As a bonus its cost-effective too!
Nextant Aerospace does not produce new aircraft from the ground up. Instead the company has found a niche remanufacturing aircraft as is the case with the Nextant 400 XT/XTi which is reengineered from original Hawker/Beechjet 400A Aircraft. This is not simply a case of making an old aircraft look pretty, the aircraft is essentially stripped back to the airframe which is re-engineered and the whole aircraft is rebuilt with new engines, new cockpit and avionics and a new high-end interior. Essentially the Nextant offers the benefits of a modern aircraft with lower operating costs with increased speed, range and efficiency.
Aside from the excellent performance characteristics the interior finish is excellent with a well-conceived layout consisting of four club seats and a three-seat divan. All the latest audio and cabin technology can be found with individual controls for cabin temperature, lighting and sound. There are very few light jets that can compete with the Nextant 400XT/XTi in terms of speed, range and efficiency. Flying London to Athens and wish to go non-stop? The Nextant is an excellent cost-effective choice.
