But nowhere else in the world can you enjoy exploring both picturesque formations, built up over thousands of years from limestone deposited by the abundant hot springs, as well as explore the remains of an idyllically located ancient Greek-Roman spa city, Hierapolis. The the colonnaded streets, temples, bath houses, necropolis and theatre are clues to the lifestyle of the residents and visitors who enjoyed the springs 2000 years ago.  You can bathe, as the Romans did in a picturesque pool filled with lovely warm mineral rich waters and swim amongst submerged columns of great antiquity.
